Localization
• Dictionary server script—This parameter is used to define the location of the dictionary server, the
languages available and the associated dictionary. The syntax is as follows:

The default is blank and the maximum number of characters is 512. The detailed format is
as follows:

• Language Selection—This parameter is used to select the default language. Its value needs to match
one of the languages supported by the dictionary server. The script (dx value) is as follows:

These parameters can also be modified from the administration web server, on the Regional set-
tings tab, as shown in Figure 3-3.

During startup, the phone checks the selected/preferred language and downloads the dictionary from the
TFTP/HFTP provisioning server indicated in the device configuration. The dictionaries are available at
the following website:
