Step 9:
Check your mobile device. The installation is complete when this icon is
displayed on the upper-left corner of your device’s screen.
To confirm if the installation is successful, the Linksys app icon should appear in
your device’s navigation menu.
Changing the router administration password using the Linksys app
Changing the router administration password is highly recommended to keep
your network settings secure and protected from unauthorized access. Using the
Linksys app, you can set your own router password so that only you will have
admin rights to your network. To learn how to do this, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
On your mobile device, tap the Linksys app icon.
Step 2:
You will be prompted to provide your Linksys cloud account. Enter the necessary
credentials and tap Log in. Or, for local access, you can tap the Log in with Router
Password link instead.
Step 3:
Tap the Menu icon on the Dashboard.
