The Alert Tag D78 is a custom developed beacon with dual push buttons based on a Bluetooth® 4.2
hardware platform. Used primarily in alert system applications.

Alert Tag D78
ACTIVATE D78
- D78 will send heartbeat messages to the nearest BLE Access Point
- To test the D78 for sufficient battery power, press and hold one button only for 2 seconds; LED will show
solid
- To activate the D78 alert, user must press and hold buttons for 2 seconds
- LED will begin blinking (approximately once per second), alarm will sound, and tag will scan for
compatible BLE beacon signals to determine location
- Tag will connect to nearest BLE Access Point and transmit alert message to Access Point, which will
forward to cloud
- Audible alarm may be silenced by pressing and holding both buttons for 5 seconds
- Tag will continue to scan and report locations to cloud until Alert state is cancelled remotely, even if
audible alarm is deactivated.
