Tightentheclampretainingtheair-bridgetotheairlter.
Note: This clamps best when the hose clamp is positioned as
pictured.
Tighten clamp on opposite end of air duct.
NOTE:PUSHDOWNFIRMLYONAIRDUCTWHILETIGHTEN-
INGTHISCLAMP.Thisisnecessarytoachieveproperalign-
ment. Double check all hose clamps for tightness.
ReattachMAFsensorconnectorandthegrayretainingclip.
Reconnect the outside air temperature connector and the hood
light connector.
Reconnect the battery ground cable.
Lowervehicledownfromjackstands.
Startvehicleandconrmpropervehicleoperation.
Congratulations - you have completed the installation.

88-0005).Thecorrectamountofoilforthislterelementis39grams(1.4ounces)ofoil.Replacementltersare
alsoavailablefromLPE(lterpartnumberL660070105).Howfrequentlyyoushouldcleanyourlterwilldepend
onyourdrivingconditions.LPErecommendscheckingyourlterateveryoilchangeor3,000miles.Ifthereisa
buildupofdirtasthickasthewiremesh,thenLPErecommendsyoucleanyourlter.Asdirtbuildsuponyour
lter,therestrictionoftheairowalsoincreases.
