. Install the rivet plug (1) into a rivet gun. 2. Insert the rivet into the coolant passage of the cylinder head. 3. Squeezing the handle of the tool, install the rivet.
4. Inspect for proper installation of the rivet (1). 5. A properly installed plug should be installed flush with the surface of the head. 6. Installation of the first design coolant air bleed cover (313) and bolt (312) may be used instead of the rivet plug to complete the repair. Tighten the coolant air bleed bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
