INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 4 sts.
Knit 3 rows (garter st).
1st row: (RS). K1. (Kfb) twice. K1.
2nd row: K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2.
3rd row: K1. Kfb. Knit to last 2 sts. Kfb. K1.
Rep last 2 rows until there are 40 sts, ending
on a WS row.
Next row: (RS). K20. Turn. Leave rem 20 sts
on a st holder.
Next row: K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2.
Next row: Knit.
Rep last 2 rows once more.
Next row: (WS). K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2.
Next row: K1. ssk. Knit to last 3 sts. K2tog. K1.
