2B. CONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY
1. Plug the micro USB end of the power cable into the USB port on the back of
the Media Connector.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the USB power adaptor.
3. The blue power light on the front of the Access Link will light.

Power Light
2C. OPTIONAL CONNECTION TO
LIGHTSPEED 855/885 AMPLIFIER
If you are connecting into a new or existing Lightspeed Cat 855 or Cat 885
amplifier, you can use use a Cat 5/5e cabling to integrate the two components.
This connection will send the audio from Access Link to the Cat 855/885 as
well as provide power for the Access Link (no need for an additional AC power
connection).
1. Plug one end of the Cat 5 cable into the AUDIO OUT/DC IN jack on the
Access Link.
2. Plug the other end into the “SENSOR INPUT” jack on the 855/885 amplifier.
3. Plug in the Cat 855/885 into AC power (if it’s not already) and the blue power
light on the front of the Access Link will light.
4. Access Link audio levels can be controlled with the Microphone Volume
control on Access Link as well as the CH A control on the amplifier.
