Plug the lamp into a standard 120 V AC electrical outlet. Never
plug the product into an electrical outlet unless it is properly
assembled.
Disconnect the plug when not in use - never pull on power cord
to unplug.
Fuse Replacement
WARNING:
Risk of Fire: Replace
only with same size and type of fuse.
WARNING:
Risk of Fire: Do
not replace the attachment plug. Contains
a safety device (fuse) that should not be
removed. Discard product if attachment plug is
damaged.
Step 1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other
outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
Step 2. Open fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover
on top of the attachment plug towards blades (see
illustration).
Step 3. Remove fuse carefully.
Step 4. Replace fuse only with 5 Amp Max, 125 Volt fuse
(provided with product)
Step 5. Close the fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access
cover on top of the attachment plug.
How to replace a C7, 1W bulb
CAUTION:
Replace only with
same type 1 Watt Max Candelabra-base 120
Volt UL Classified lamps.
CAUTION:
Disconnect the plug
from the electrical outlet and allow the lamp to
cool completely before replacing bulb. Do not
touch the bulb when the power is “ON” as it is extremely hot
and may cause electrocution.
Step 1. Unplug the lamp from electrical outlet. Never pull on
power cord to unplug.
Step 2. Unlock (counter-clockwise) the lamp topper from top
of lamppost and remove the not working light bulb
(counter-clockwise) from the candle holder.
Step 3. Replace with new flickering light bulb with a 1W (120 V)
bulb by turning clockwise.
Step 4. Place the lamp topper on the top and turn clockwise to
secure.
a. When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree
should be well maintained and fresh. Do not place on
live trees in which the needles are brown or break off
easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
b. If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be
well secured and stable.
c. Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully.
Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or
frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lamp
holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed
copper wire.
d. When storing the product, carefully remove the product
from wherever it is placed including trees, or bushes,
to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product
conductors, connections, and wires.
e. Always unplug this product before installing or
replacing lamps.
f. Use only with the intended (labeled) wattage bulb or
smaller.
g. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location
protected from sunlight.
h. Do not touch the bulb at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil
i. Do not operate the unit with a missing or damaged
lamp containment barrier
Problem: I plugged in my Lamp Post and it does not work.
a. Ensure that the unit is plugged in.
b. Ensure the toggle switch is in the desired position.
c. Ensure the outlet your unit is plugged into has power.
d. Unplug and re-plug the unit into its power source.
