WHAT ARE LifeTiles
®
LifeTiles
®
is a unique textile composite ooring with specic installation techniques. While it may appear
similar to carpet tile, special attention is required when installing LifeTiles
®
.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Inspect modules prior to installation. No claims will be honored if modules are installed with visible
defects. Read all instructions prior to beginning installation.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using a sharp knife, always cut away from yourself. Cut resistant gloves are recommended.
Each LifeTile includes a removable plastic backing. Promptly dispose of removable plastic backing
to prevent slips and falls.
Ensure children are not present during installation due to the presence of sharp objects.
WHERE TO INSTALL
LifeTiles
®
cannot be applied to any surface other than concrete. Any epoxy, paint, or other surface
coating must be removed prior to install. No surface condensation or standing water is allowed. Glossy
surfaces must be sanded for primer to stick. The space must be enclosed with exception of garage door
type openings. LifeTiles
®
is not approved for outdoor use. LifeTiles
®
must be stored indoors and can only
be installed in temperatures greater than 55 degrees. This temperature must be maintained for 48 hours
after installation. Floor heaters may be used to reach this temperature.

Utility or carpet knife with additional sharp blades (Recommended: Stanley carpet knife #10-525)
Shopvac or broom to clean oors
Bucket or paint tray
⅜” nap or foam paint roller for Primer application
Chalk line tool
Measuring tape
Right angle square
Painters tape
Laundry detergent and cloth (Optional, for treating oil stains)
Concrete crack ller or cement-based patching compound for exterior use. Quikrete
®
concrete repair
is ideal for lling cracks in concrete. (Optional for uneven oors or cracked concrete.)
