4 AT410 Installation Instructions
Installing the AT410
To install the AT410 Adaptable Transmitter:
1. Using the wiring diagrams in Figure 2, connect the AT410 to the smoke detector. You
must provide the two wires that connect the AT410 to the smoke detector.

2. To secure the wires, loosen the two screws on the bottom of the unit (see Figure 1), then
insert the wires into the holes on the front of the unit (see Figure 1), then tighten the
screws to hold the wires in place.
3. Attach the AT410 to the ceiling beside the smoke detector by opening the battery
compartment and removing the battery (you do not have to disconnect the battery).
Insert two screws into the holes in the battery compartment (see
Figure 1) and tighten
them onto the ceiling.
4. Install the battery into the battery compartment and close the door.
