Inserting/replacing battery
♦ Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote
trigger8. Using a coin, for example, turn the battery
compartment coverw towards the OPEN arrow direction
until the arrow on the battery compartment coverw points
to the open lock symbol .
♦ Insert a CR 2032 battery into the battery compartment.
The positive pole must point upward.
♦ Place the battery compartment coverw on the back of
the remote trigger8 and lock the battery compartment.
Turn the battery compartment coverw towards the CLOSE
arrow direction until the arrow on the battery compartment
coverw points to the closed lock symbol
.
If the power LED0 is flashing red in one second intervals,
the battery is dead and must be replaced.
Handling and operation
Connecting to a smartphone
Before you can use the selfie stick, you have to first pair the
remote trigger8 with a compatible smartphone via
Bluetooth
®
.
This product supports iOS 8.0 or higher and Android 6.0 or
higher. Since Android is an open-source system, each manu-
facturer assigns the keys in their camera app themselves.
Therefore, the original camera app of some smartphones
cannot be used to take pictures and there may be various
malfunctions when pressing the buttonq. If this is the
case, check the operating system settings to see whether
there is an option to use the volume control (+) as an
additional trigger button.
