Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth
®
device
Before you can use the speaker to play music via
Bluetooth
®
, you must pair it with a Bluetooth
®
compati-
ble playback device.
♦ Press and hold the button q for approx. 2 seconds
to turn the speaker on and enable the Bluetooth
®
func-
tion. You will hear a beep and LED 1 0 will flash orange
twice. LED 1 0 will then flash alternating between blue
and orange.
♦ Set the Bluetooth
®
playback device so that it scans for
Bluetooth
®
devices. A detailed description of how to
do this can be found in the operating instructions of your
Bluetooth
®
playback device.
♦ Select the entry SLBP 5 A1 from the list of devices found
on your Bluetooth
®
playback device and, if prompt-
ed, enter the code 0000 to pair the two devices. The
Bluetooth
®
playback device is now automatically
connected to the speaker via Bluetooth
®
.
If pairing is successful, you will hear a beep and LED 1 0
will flash blue once every 3 seconds.
