Depending on the volume and the age of the
battery, the operating time of the device is

Insert the micro USB plug of the charging
cable

into the micro USB port

of the
Bluetooth
®
speaker. Insert the USB plug of the
charging cable into the USB port on a PC or
a USB adapter (not included).
Note: The signal LED
5
will light up red
while charging and goes out once charging
is completed. The charging time for a drained
battery is 6.5 hours.
Note: The speaker may be used while
charging. However, doing so will at a minimum
double the charging time.
Once charging is complete, remove the micro
USB plug of the charging cable and close the
protective cover so the device is splash-proof
again.
Using the Bluetooth speaker
Establishing a Bluetooth
®
connection:
Remove all plugs from the AUX stereo jack

before you establish a Bluetooth
®
radio link.
Press and hold the
Bluetooth button

for 2 seconds until the signal LED
5
flashes
blue and a sound sequence signal is emitted.
The speaker will now attempt to connect to the
playback device (e.g. smartphone or computer).
Switch on the playback device and approve
the connection. Please note the software
requirements for the playback device. The
signal LED will light up blue and emit a sound
signal sequence.
The speaker identification on the playback
device will be SBL 5.1 A1 (for model A).
The maximum range of the connection is
32.8ft (10 m), but may be reduced to the
geometry of the space (obstructing furniture,
walls, etc.).
The playback device must support Bluetooth
®
standard 4.2. Otherwise you may not be
able to use all the functions listed below.
Functions of the Bluetooth
speaker buttons
Start a playlist on your playback device. Set the
volume on the playback device to Maximum. The
volume on the Bluetooth
®
speaker can be adjusted
as described below. Music is played back through
the speakers

The Bluetooth
®
speaker has 4 buttons. They control
the following functions:

A signal tone will sound when the maxi-

connection.

Turn on the sound source.
If the Bluetooth

speaker is off, press and
