► Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Children might put batteries into their mouth
and swallow them. If a battery has been
swallowed, seek medical assistance im-
mediately. Also, contact your local poison
control center.
► Do not mix alkaline, carbon-zinc (standard),
Ni-Cd (rechargeable) or other types of
batteries.
► Use only the correct type and size of bat-
tery indicated.
► Always insert the batteries the right way
(observe correct polarity); otherwise there
is a risk that they could explode.
► Clean the battery contacts and also those
of the device prior to battery installation.
► If you do not intend to use the device for
a long time, remove the batteries.
► Remove discharged batteries from equip-
ment promptly to avoid possible damage
from leakage.
► Always replace the whole set of batteries
at the same time. Never mix old and new
ones.
► If the battery compartment does not close
securely, stop using the product and keep it
away from children.
