• Press and hold [MENU/LIST] button for 3 seconds
DIVIDING A TITLE
To separate a title into two titles:
a) Ensure playback stopped
b) Press [DVD] or [HDD]
c) Press [MENU/LIST]
d) Select title to split
e) Press OK [
]
f) Select Edit option to display editing menu
g) Select Divide option from left panel
h) Use PLAY [
], SCAN [ ] and PAUSE/STEP [
]
buttons to locate split point
• Each section must be 3 seconds or longer.
i) Press OK [
]. Playback screen shows dividing point.
j) Select Done option
k) Press OK [
] to confi rm split
PROTECT A TITLE
To protect a title against accidental recording, editing or deletion:
a) Ensure playback stopped
b) Press [DVD] or [HDD]
c) Press [MENU/LIST]
d) Select title to protect
e) Press OK [
]
f) Select Edit option to display editing menu
g) Select Protect option from left panel
h) Press OK [
]. Lock mark is displayed on title thumbnail.
To unprotect the title:
i) Select Unprotect option from editing menu in left panel
j) Press OK [
] to confi rm
DELETING A PART
To delete part of title:
a) Ensure playback stopped
b) Press [DVD] or [HDD]
c) Press [MENU/LIST]
d) Select title
e) Press OK [
]
f) Select Edit option to display editing menu
g) Select Delete Part from editing menu in left panel
h) Press OK [
] to display delete part menu
i) Use PLAY [
], SCAN [ ] and PAUSE/STEP [
]
buttons to locate start/end points
• Start Point: Select start point of deletion
• End Point: Select end point of deletion
• Next Part: Delete additional part (HDD only)
• Cancel: Cancel deletion
• Done: Delete selected part
j) Press OK [
] to confi rm deletion
NAMING A TITLE
To change a title name:
a) Ensure playback stopped
b) Press [DVD] or [HDD]
c) Press [MENU/LIST]
d) Select title
e) Press OK [
]
f) Select Edit option from menu in left panel
g) Select Rename or Title name from editing menu in left panel
h) Press OK [
]
i) Use [
] to navigate keyboard and press
OK [
] on remote control to confi rm each key selection
• To use shortcuts on remote control to enter a name:
PLAY [
]: Inserts a space at the cursor position
