VIEWING TV
MODE SETTING
To view live TV in HDD mode:
• Press [HDD]
To view live TV in DVD mode:
• Press [DVD]
CHANGING TV CHANNEL
To change channel:
• Press [PR+] or [PR-]
OR
• Use numbered [0-9] buttons to jump to a channel
CHOOSING TV CHANNEL FROM LIST
To display TV channel list:
a) Press [PR LIST]. TV channel list is displayed.
b) Select channel
c) Press OK [
] to confi rm
DISPLAYING INFORMATION WHILE WATCHING TV
To display information while using Unit to watch TV:
• Press [INFO]
• Information is displayed briefl y, as follows:
• Channel number, station name, audio signal (Stereo, Bilingual,
Mono) for analog channels
• Media name and format
• Mode, free space, and elapsed time
• Current date and time
• Program title, start time and end time
• Extended Text Message icon: an Extended Text Message is
available to program description
• DTV Subtitle icon: current program contains subtitles
Wide icon: current program is in wide picture format
Digital Text Service Icon: digital text service available
SWITCHING PROGRAM LIST
To switch channel list to Digital TV, Analog TV or Radio:
a) Press [PR LIST]. TV channel list is displayed.
b) Press [
] to move to title of list
c) Press [
] to select Digital TV, Analog TV or Radio.
Chosen list is displayed.
DISPLAYING FAVORITE PROGRAM LIST
To display favorite channel list:
a) Press [FAV]. Favorite options are displayed.
b) Select channel
c) Press OK [
] to view
ACCESSING A DIGITAL TEXT SERVICE
a) Press [TEXT] to display text menu for current channel
b) Select choice
c) Press OK [
] to confi rm
d) Use [Red, Green, Yellow and Blue] as instructed on display
e) Press [TEXT] or BACK [
] to return to normal viewing
CHANGING TV AUDIO CHANNEL
To change TV audio channel for stereo and bilingual broadcast:
• Press AUDIO [
] on remote control repeatedly. Current audio
channel is displayed.
