POP3 / IMAP4 – Select protocol type, either POP3 or
IMAP4.
Incoming server – Enter the incoming email server
address.
Secure type – TLS/SSL/Off.
Port number – Normally each account’s default number
will be displayed.
Outgoing server – Enter the outgoing email server
address.
SMTP Secure typeTLS/SSL/Off.
Port number – Normally each account’s default number
will be displayed.
The Accounts screen
The Accounts screen lists your Combined Inbox and
each of your email accounts.
Touch the
Application
tab and select
Email
.
The
Account list
screen appears.
TIP! In account lists, touch an email account more
heavily to move the account icon to the home
screen. Touch the icon to go to straight to the inbox.
You can touch an account to view its Combined
Inbox. The default account from which you send
email is indicated with a tick.
To open your Combined Inbox:
If you have configured email to send and receive email
from more than one account, you can view all messages
sent to all accounts in your Combined Inbox.
Touch Email.
Touch Combined Inbox (on the Accounts screen).
Messages in the Combined Inbox are colour-coded
on the left, by account, using the same colours used
for your accounts in the Accounts screen.
Composing and sending email
To compose and send a message:
In the Email application, touch the Menu key, then
touch Compose.

Enter an address for the message’
s intended recipient. As you enter text,
matching addresses will be offered from
your contacts. Separate multiple addresses
with commas.
Touch the Menu key and then touch Add Cc/Bcc to
copy or blind copy to other contacts/email addresses.
Enter the text of the message.
Touch Attach to attach the file you want to
send with your message.
Touch Send.
If you’re not ready to send the message, touch the
Menu key and the touch Save as draft to save it in
a Drafts folder. Touch a message in a Drafts folder
