Resolution
A glare panel's sleek and gleaming finish adds elegance to a
monitor's appearance. The panel reproduces richer and
clearer colors when compared with anti-glare panels and also
has a protective effect.
Panel surfaces can be glare and non-glare, depending on gloss. Panel types can be

ivided into TS, VA, IPS, and others, depending on viewing angle.

The Super IPS panel implements 178 degrees vertically and
horizontally, which is the highest viewing angle available.
Compared with a regular TN panel (170 degrees vertically and
160 degrees horizontally), a wide viewing angle is provided so
that the picture can be watched without any image quality
distortion from any direction. In addition, excellent color
uniformity expresses more colors, providing a splendid color
tone and top-quality image for professional graphics work.
Currently, regular LCD monitors provide a 72% color
reproduction ratio and covers sRGB only (based on NTSC
[CIE1931]), whereas WCG135 provides 135% color
reproduction and covers both sRGB and Adobe RGB color
reproduction ranges. WCG135 expresses the whole range of
colors to satisfy every user.
The WCG (Wide Color Gamut) means that a high-precision color reproduction
environment is provided, as the color reproduction range supported by the monitor is
widened. The numerical value shows the color reproduction ratio-the higher the
number, the richer the color that can be expressed.

2ms response time(two thousandth of a second) high-speed
response time is the fastest response speed available. It helps
remove afterimage and expresses fast-moving images clearly
to reduce eye strain.
Response time tells us how fast the screen pixel responds. The lower the number, the
faster the pixels respond.

wide color gamut that is 135% of the NTSC and reproduces a
wide range of natural and rich colors that meets the

signals, the DVI (Digital Video Interface) receives PC digital
image signals directly from the monitor.

such as HD-DVD, Blu-ray, PS3, and Xbox360. The HDMI
terminal receives the original image quickly without any
compression or conversion of images and sound in
1920*1080 resolution contents. Therefore, users can enjoy
high-resolution contents with a clear image quality without any
image loss or distortion.

connection to two of the latest HD entertainment devices at
the same time. Users can enjoy a greater range of contents by
reducing the inconvenience caused by having to replace
cables.
Generally, connectors are D-sub or DVI connectors. A 15pin D-sub connector
receives an analog signal, whereas a DVI connector supplements the
shortcomings of an analog signal (several image blazing symptoms) by using a
digital transmission method. On the contrary, the HDMI is the digital
transmission specification for multimedia equipment, supporting connection
with the latest HD entertainment devices.
As the standard format for digital TV broadcasting is switching
to MPEG4 specifications, the monitor contains an MPEG 4
based tuner so that high-resolution HDTV pictures can be
reproduced in the monitor without the need for a separate
receiver.
