When transporting and installing the appliance, care should be taken to ensure that no parts of the refrigerating circuit are damaged. INSTALLATION Dimensions and Clearances Check the dimensions of the appliance and the installation path to ensure there is suf cient room to move the refrigerator through doors or narrow openings. The installation location chosen for the refrigerator should allow space behind the unit for connections and air ow and space in front to open the doors. Too small of a distance from adjacent items may result in reduced freezing capability and increased electricity consumption charges.

OPERATION STARTING Turn the controls to the COLDER position before using the appliance for the rst time. Wait 2-3 hours for the temperature to stabilize before storing food. If the appliance is unplugged, wait 5 minutes before plugging it in again to avoid stress to the compressor. Compressor will start operating 7 to 10 minutes after connecting the power cord. TEMPERATURE CONTROL The default setting for the refrigerator temperature control is COLDER.

OPERATION WATER DISPENSER (OPTIONAL) NOTE ● ● ● Install the water tank before lling it with water. Installing the tank while it is lled with water can result in leaking if the valve is pressed. Remove the water tank for cleaning or when not in use. Cover Cap Filling the Water Tank 1. Open the cover cap and pour water into the water tank. 2. Close the cover cap. SUGGESTIONS FOR FOOD STORAGE STORING FOOD ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Store fresh food in the refrigerator compartment. How food is frozen and thawed is an important factor in maintaining its freshness and flavor. Do not store food which goes bad easily at low temperatures, such as bananas, pineapples, and melons. Allow hot food to cool prior to storing. Placing hot food in the refrigerator could spoil other food, and lead to higher electric bills.

CLEANING It is important that your refrigerator be kept clean to prevent undesirable odors. Spilled food should be wiped up immediately, since it may acidify and stain plastic surfaces if allowed to sit. INTERIOR PARTS - Wash compartment shelves, door bins, storage trays and magnetic door seals. Clean interior parts using a lukewarm solution of mild soap and water. Wipe with a clean damp cloth and then dry.

GENERAL INFORMATION VACATION TIME IF YOU MOVE During average length vacations, you will probably find it best to leave the refrigerator in operation. Place freezable items in freezer for longer life. When you plan to be away for an extended period, remove all food, disconnect the power cord, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave each door OPEN to prevent odor formation. Remove or securely fasten down all loose items inside the refrigerator.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD ABOUT GROUNDING (EARTHING) Use this appliance on a dedicated circuit; that is, an outlet that is the only outlet on the circuit. Overloading a circuit causes low voltage, malfunction, possible damage to the equipment, and poor cooling capacity. Check your local electric code or consult a qualified electrician if you have questions.

A grounding/earth wire may be installed to prevent electric shock in case of electricity leakage. How to connect the earth wire: • Connect the earth wire's metal ring end to the earth screw on the back of the refrigerator. • Peel off the cable sheath/insulation at the other end of the earth wire. Attach the peeled wire to a metal screw/nail and then drive it through the wall or ground. Do not connect the earth wire to the following locations.

FUNCIONAMIENTO INICIO Cuando su frigorífico primero esté recién instalado, concédale de 2-3 horas para estabilizarse a las temperaturas de funcionamiento normales antes de llenarlo con alimentos frescos o congelados. SUGERENCIAS PARA GUARDAR LOS ALIMENTOS COLOCACIÓN DE LOS ALIMENTOS ● Guarde los alimentos frescos en el compartimento del frigorífico. El modo en que los alimentos se congelen y se descongelen es un factor importante para mantener su frescura y sabor. ● No guarde alimentos que se deterioran con facilidad a bajas temperaturas, del tipo de plátanos, piñas y melones.

LIMPIEZA Es importante mantener limpio el frigorífico para evitar olores no deseables. Deberá limpiarse inmediatamente cualquier salpicadura, ya que podría fermentar e incrustarse en la superficie de plástico. Deconecte el cable de alimentación y extrariga los alimentos y todos los estantes de los compartimientos, bandejas de almacenamiento, etc. Lave todos los compartimientos con una solución de bicarbonato sódico. INFORMACIÓN GENERAL VACACIONES MUDANZAS En unas vacaciones de corta duración, probablemente lo mejor será dejar el frigorífico funcionando. Introduzca en el congelador los alimentos que puedan congelarse para una mayor conservación. Cuando piense estar fuera durante un período prolongado de tiempo, saque todos los alimentos, desconecte el cable de alimentación, limpie completamente el interior y deje ABIERTAS las puertas para impedir la formación de olores.

ADVERTENCIAS IMPORTANTES NO UTILICE CABLES ALARGADORES CONEXIÓN A TIERRA(MASA) Si fuera posible, conecte el frigorífico a una toma eléctrica individual para evitar que la combinación de éste con otros aparatos o luces doméstucas pueda provocar una sobrecarga y el consiguiente corte eléctrico. En el caso de un cortocircuito eléctrico, la conexión a tierra(masa) reduce el riesgo de descargas eléctricas ya que proporciona un cable de escape para la corriente eléctica.

EARTH (TIERRA) Construcción (OPCIONAL) Se recomienda la instalación de toma tierra para evitar descargas eléctricas en caso que de las fugas de electricidad. FONCTIONNEMENT DEMARRAGE Lorsque votre réfrigérateur est installé pour la première fois, laissez-le marcher pendant 2-3 heures pour qu'il se stabilise aux températures de fonctionnement normales avant d'y ranger des aliments frais ou surgelés. Si le fonctionnement est interrompu, attendez 5 minutes avant de le redémarrer. Le compresseur commencera à fonctionner sept à dix minutes après le branchement du cordon d alimentation.

SUGGESTIONS POUR LA CONSERVATION DES ALIMENTS CONSER VATION DES ALIMENTS ● Conservez les aliments frais dans le compartiment réfrigérateur. Comment l'aliment est surgelé et décongelé est un facteur important pour maintenir sa fraîcheur et son goût. . ● Ne conservez pas les aliments qui mûrissent facilement à des basses températures, comme les bananes, les ananas et les melons. ● Laissez refroidir les aliments chauds avant de le mettre au réfrigérateur.

NETTOYAGE Il est important de garder votre réfrigérateur toujours propre afin d’éviter les odeurs indésirables. Les aliments détériorés doivent être immédiatement retirés car ils risquent de former de l’acide sur les surfaces plastiques et de dissoudre la peinture. Débranchez le réfrigérateur, enlevez les aliments, les étagères et tous les casiers de conservation. Nettoyez tous les compartiments avec une solution de bicarbonate de soude. Rincez et séchez.

INFORMATIONS GÉNÉRALES VACANCES DEMENAGEMENT Si vous partez en vacances courtes et que vous jugiez préférable de laisser fonctionner le réfrigérateur pendant votre abcense. Placez les aliments qui supportent la congélation dans le compartiment congélation longue durée. Mais si votre absence risque d’être plus longue, débranchez le câble d’alimentation, nettoyez soigneusement l’intérieur et laissez les portes OUVERTES pour prévenir la formation d’odeurs.

AVERTISSEMENTS IMPORTANTES N'UTILISEZ PAS UN PROLONGATEUR LA MISE A LA TERRE Si possible, réservez une prise secteur pour la connexion du réfrigérateur uniquement, vous éviterez ainsi au réfrigérateur ainsi qu’aux autres appareils ou éclairages de causer une surcharge et de provoquer un court circuit. Dans l’éventualité d’un court circuit, la mise à la terre réduit les risques de chocs électriques en fournissant au courant électrique un fil supplémentaire pour s’échapper.

RACCORDEMENT À LA PRISE DE TERRE (EN OPTION) Il est recommandé de relié ce produit à la terre afin d'éviter tout choc électrique en cas de fuite électrique. Comment connecter le fil de terre: • Branchez l'extrémité du fil métallique de la Terre à l'anneau de terre (vis) l'arrière du réfrigérateur. • Enlevez l'isolation du câble / gaine à l'autre bout du fil de terre. Fixez le fil dénudé à une vis en métal / clou et connecter le au mur ou au sol.
