Pause
1 Press the Pause button for 1 second to pause
cooking. All active cooking zones remain at
power level 1 while cooking is paused.
2 To resume cooking, press the Pause button
for 1 second again. The cooking zones will
resume cooking at the previous power level.
Turning the Appliance Off
1 To completely turn off the appliance, press
and hold the POWER button.
Turning the Cooking Zone Off
1 Press the desired Cooking zone selector.
2 Press the Power level / Time selector to set
the power level to 0.
NOTE
• After you turn off a single cooking zone or the
entire cooking surface, the hot surface indicators
display an "H" on the appropriate cooking zones
until the surface cools.
Using the Control Lock
Use the Control Lock function to help prevent a
child from activating the cooking surface of the
cooktop. It also prevents unintended setting
changes while cleaning the surface with a cloth by
locking all buttons on the control panel except for
the POWER button.
Switching the Control Lock On/Off
1 Press the Control Lock button for
approximately 3 seconds. An audible signal
sounds as confirmation.
2 Press any control button. L will appear in the
indicator, indicating the control lock has been
activated.
3 To switch the control lock off, press the
Control Lock button again for 3 seconds. An
audible signal sounds as confirmation.
NOTE
• If you activate the control lock while the cooktop
is operating, the POWER button remains active
for safety, so you can turn the cooktop off.
• If the control lock is enabled when the cooktop is
not operating, all buttons except for the Control
Lock button will be disabled, including the
POWER button.
Timer
1 Press the Timer button. The number 10 will
be displayed above the timer indicator.
2 Press the +/- buttons to set the timer. Then,
press the Timer button again.
