Getting Started with Your Phone The Battery Note It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone. Installing the Battery Remove the battery cover by pressing down below the LG logo and sliding the cover up. Align the battery with the terminals near the top of the phone, then snap the rest of the battery into place. Align the battery cover then slide it upward until it clicks into place. When you call automated systems, such as voice mail or credit billing numbers, you often have to enter a series of numbers to navigate through the system. Instead of entering these numbers by hand, you can store the numbers in your Contacts separated by special pause characters (W, P).
