Getting Started with Your Phone The Battery Note It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone. Installing the Battery Remove the battery cover by sliding it upward. Contacts in Your Phone’s Memory Phone Numbers With Pauses 1. From standby mode enter the phone number you want to save (up to 48 digits). When you call automated systems, such as voice mail or credit billing numbers, you often have to enter a series of numbers to navigate through the system. Instead of entering these numbers by hand, you can store the numbers in your Contacts separated by special pause characters (W, P). There are two different types of pauses you can use when storing a number: 2.

BREW Downloading Applications You can download applications and use Brew anywhere on the network, as long as your handset has a digital signal available. Most applications do not use a network connection while in use. Incoming Calls While downloading an application, incoming calls will automatically be sent to your voice mail, if available. If you do not have voice mail, downloading will not be interrupted by an incoming call, and the caller will receive a busy signal.
