Settings for Digital TV
To use DTV functions, this recorder needs some
settings in advance.
Auto Tuning (Cable Setting)
1. Press HOME (
n
).
2. Use
a/d
to select [Settings], and press ENTER
(

).
3. Use
w/s
to select [DTV], and press ENTER
(
b
).
4. Use
w/s
to select [Auto Tuning] and press
ENTER (

).
5. Use
w/s
to select [Cable] and press ENTER
(

).
6. Use
w/s
to select [KDG] or [Unity Media], and
press ENTER (
b
).
7. Use
a/d
to select an option Type [Quick or
Network] or [Full].
8. Select a desired option using
w/s
.
Then adjust selected option using
a/d
or
numerical buttons.
9. Use
w/s/a/d
to select [Next], and press
ENTER (
b
).
10. Use
w/s
to select [Start], and press ENTER (
b
)
to begin the channel search.
Select [Stop] and press ENTER (
b
) to stop the
scanning programmes.
If the [Lock System] option is set to [On],
this function is available when you enter the
password correctly. (see page 25.)
