Installation 11 3 Installation Connecting the speakers Optional Equipment Connection Attaching the speakers to the unit AUX IN Connection Connect the black end of each wire to the terminals marked - (minus) and the other end to the terminals marked + (plus). Connect a Output of auxiliary device to the AUX Input (L/R) Connector. If your TV has only one output for audio (mono), connect it to the left (white) audio jack on the unit.

Operation Displaying file information (ID3 TAG ) While playing an MP3 file containing file information, you can display the information by pressing INFO.. Operation Radio Operations Be sure that both FM aerials are connected. (Refer to the page 12) Listening to the Radio 1. Press FUNCTION until FM appears in the display window. Operation Using your player as an alarm clock 1. Turn the power on. 2. Press TIMER. Each functions flashes. 3. Press SET when the function you want to be woken by is showing. 4. “ON TIME” will be displayed. This is where you set the time you want the alarm to start. Use . or > to change the hours and minutes and SET to save. 5. The “OFF TIME” will be displayed. This is where you set the time you want the function to stop.

If you need to ship the unit, for maximum protection, re-pack the unit as it was originally packed at the factory.
