Connecting the AC
adapter
1. Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC
adapter.
2. Connect the AC adapter cable to DC IN adapter
input.
3. Plug the AC power cord into an AC outlet.

Only use the AC adapter supplied with this
device. Do not use a power supply from
another device or manufacturer. Using any
other power cable or power supply may cause
damage to the device and void your warranty.

Caution
Battery Installation
1. Press and open the battery cover on the bottom
of the unit.
2. Put six “AA size batteries” (not supplied) into
the compartment making sure the

should be correctly positioned.
3. Close the battery cover.

Keep the batteries out of the unit when you
do not use them for a long time.
y
Replace the batteries with new ones when
they need changing.
y
Alkaline or NiMH battery is recommended
to use.

Caution

Charging via this unit is only available when
the unit’s power cord is inserted in the
outlet.
