De USIM-kaart plaatsen De USIM-kaart bevat uw telefoonnummer, gegevens over de service en uw contactpersonen, en dient in de telefoon te worden geplaatst. Als de USIM-kaart wordt verwijderd, dan kunt u de telefoon niet gebruiken (behalve voor noodoproepen) totdat er een goede kaart wordt geplaatst. Sluit de oplader en andere accessoires af voordat u de USIM-kaart plaatst of verwijdert.

Houd de knop voor de ontgrendeling van de batterij ingedrukt en schuif de batterij omlaag. Aan de slag De batterij verwijderen. Zet het toestel uit. LET OP! • Oefen niet te veel druk uit op de connector om beschadiging van telefoon en/of reisadapter te voorkomen. • Als u de oplader in het buitenland wilt gebruiken, zorg er dan voor dat u de juiste aansluitingsadapter hebt.

Plaats de geheugenkaart in de sleuf. De metalen contactpunten dienen zich aan de achterkant van de microSD te bevinden. Druk de microSD niet te hard aan.

De telefoon aan/uitzetten ] Plaats geen geheugenkaarten die niet door microSD zijn gemaakt.

Toegangscodes U kunt de in dit hoofdstuk omschreven toegangscodes gebruiken om onbevoegd gebruik van uw telefoon te voorkomen. De toegangscodes (behalve de PUK- en PUK2code) kunnen worden gewijzigd met de functie Codes wijzigen [menu nr. #.1.4.3].

Neem ook contact op met de klantenservice van uw serviceprovider als u de code verliest. Beveiligingscode (4 tot 8 cijfers) De beveiligingscode voorkomt onbevoegd gebruik van uw telefoon. De standaard beveiligingscode is 0000.

U kunt de softkeys gebruiken voor verschillende functies terwijl u een nummer kiest. Met de linker softkey kunt u een videooproep doen, een bericht verzenden aan het nummer, of het nummer opslaan in Contactpersonen. Schermindeling De screensaver bevat de naam van de serviceprovider, indicators, en de datum en tijd in een achtergrondafbeelding.

Getting Started Getting Started 18 Installing the USIM card and battery 1. Installing the USIM card. Your USIM card contains your phone number, service details and contacts and must be inserted into your handset. If your USIM card is removed then your handset becomes unusable (except for emergency calls) until a valid one is inserted. Always disconnect the charger and other accessories from your handset before inserting and removing your USIM card. Slide the USIM card into the USIM card holder.
Charging the Battery Before connecting the travel adapter to the phone you must first install the battery. Press and hold down the battery release button and slide the battery down. Getting Started To remove the battery. Turn the power off. (If the power is left on, there is a chance you could lose the stored telephone numbers and messages.) 1. With the arrow facing you as shown in the diagram push the plug on the battery adapter into the socket on the left side of the phone until it clicks into place.

The access codes (except the PUK and PUK2 codes) can be changed by using the Change codes feature [Menu #.1.4.3]. The PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) code is required to unblock a blocked PIN code. The PUK code may be supplied with the USIM card. If not, contact your network operator’s customer service department for the code.

Unlock function You can use the soft keys for several functions while dialling a number. Using the left soft key, you can make a video call, send a message to the number, save the number to Contacts.
