Getting Started Revolving the LCD panel 1 Getting Started You can revolve the LCD panel of the unit clockwise a maximum of 180 degrees for use. You can also operate the unit after revolving the LCD panel 180 degrees and folding it back down. yy When the remaining time of the battery power is under a few minutes, “. Check Battery” will blink on the screen. Using [Home Menu] menu The home menu appears when you press HOME (n). Use a/d to select a category and press ENTER (b).

3 System Setting System Setting Settings When the unit is turned-on at the first time, you have to select the desired language. (optional) Adjust the Setup Settings You can change the settings of the unit in the [Setup] menu. 1. Press HOME (n). 2. Select [SETUP] option on the [Home Menu] and [SETUP] menu appears. 3. Use w/s to select the first setup option, and press d to move to the second level. [DISPLAY] Menu TV Aspect Select which screen aspect to use based on the shape of your TV screen.
System Setting [AUDIO] Menu [OTHERS] Menu DRC (Dynamic Range Control) REC Bitrate Make the sound clear when the volume is turned down (Dolby Digital only). Set to [On] for this effect. You can choose a bit rate for USB direct recording. Higher bit rate gives the better sound quality but uses more space on the USB Flash Drive. For USB direct recording, see page 21. Vocal Set to [On] only when a multi-channel karaoke DVD is playing. The karaoke channels on the disc mix into normal stereo sound.

Select “Auto Tuning” option then press ENTER (b) to start auto tuning. 1. Select [TV] option on the [Home Menu]. 2. Press TV SETUP to display [TV Setup] menu. 3. Select [CH. System], and press d. 4. Operating General Playback Playing a Disc rt 1. Turn on the Power Switch. 2. Open the disc lid and insert a disc. 3. Close the disc lid. For the most DVD-ROM discs, playback starts automatically. For the Audio CD, select a track using w/s, and press PLAY (z) or ENTER (b) to play the Track. 4. Press HOME (n). 5. Select [MOVIE] or [MUSIC] using a/d, and press ENTER (b).

Operating Advanced Playback Repeating a specific portion ryt This player can repeat a portion you have selected. 1. While playback, press A-B to select [Repeat A] at the beginning of the portion you wish to repeat. 2. Press A-B at the end of the portion. Your selected portion will be repeated continually. 3. To return to normal playback, press A-B. Repeat Playback rtuy 4 During playback, press REPEAT repeatedly to select a desired repeat mode.
Operating 19 Last Scene Memory rt Changing subtitle code page y This unit memorizes the last scene from the last disc that is viewed. The last scene remains in memory even if you remove the disc from the unit or switch off the unit. If you load a disc that has the scene memorized, the scene is automatically recalled. If the subtitle is displayed in broken letter, you can change the subtitle code page to view the subtitle file properly.

[Song, Album, Artist, Time progress bar] Depending on the MP3 files, information may not be displayed on the screen. 1. While viewing a photo in full screen. 2. Select an option using a/d then press ENTER (b). yy Use a/d to move previous or the next page.

5 Troubleshooting 22 Troubleshooting Troubleshooting Symptom No power Cause The power cord is disconnected. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet securely. The battery is discharged. Recharge the battery. The power is on, but the unit does not work. No disc is inserted. Insert a disc. The unit does not start playback. An unplayable disc is inserted. Insert a playable disc. (Check the disc type and regional code.) The rating level is set. Change the rating level.
