Paper jam in Tray 5 (high‑capacity feeder)
Paper jam inside the tray

Pull out the tray until it stops.
Warning—Potential Damage: Do not pull out the tray with too
much force. Doing so may hit and injure your knees.
2 Firmly grasp the jammed paper on each side, and then gently pull
it out.
3 Push the tray gently until it stops.
4 If necessary, touch Continue, jam cleared from the printer control
panel.

Gently move the tray to the left until it stops.
2 Firmly grasp the jammed paper on each side, and then gently pull
it out.
3 Gently put the tray back into position.
4 If necessary, touch Continue, jam cleared from the printer control
panel.
Paper jam in the top cover

Gently move the tray to the left until it stops.
2 Open the top cover.
