DESCRIPTION

In the past, all designated emergency lights in

a facility had to stay on 24 hours a day to meet

safety codes. Now with Leviton Emergency

Dimming Luminaire Control, you can specify and

install a UL-924 listed emergency power control

device that can convert and control up to 20

regular light fixtures as approved emergency

lights. These emergency lights can then be

turned ON and OFF in the same manner as

regular lights.

The Emergency Dimming Luminaire Control

automatically illuminates connected emergency

loads to full brightness upon utility power

interruption, regardless of switch/dimmer

position. Ideal for emergency luminaires in public

places such as:

• Auditoriums

• Restaurants

• Conference rooms

• Theaters

• Classrooms

• Retail spaces

• Municipal buildings

• Houses of worship

FEATURES

• Integral Test Switch provides convenient

anytime testing

• Voltage Surge Protection ensures reliable

performance under adverse conditions

• Status indicators separate LEDs indicate

regular and emergency power, allowing

verification of correct wiring connections

• Emergency Power Supervision—internal

supervision circuits to prevent emergency

luminaires from illuminating during normal

times if Emergency Hot or Neutral conductors

have been interrupted. This gives warning that

a problem exists with emergency supply, which

would otherwise be unnoticed, especially

when controls are mounted above ceiling tile

• Triple Safety and Reliability—consists of 2

contactors, C-1 and C-2.

- C-1 energized during normal times and

is de-energized when regular power is

interrupted

- C-2 energized when regular power is

interrupted and is de-energized when

regular power is restored

• Automatically switches designated

emergency fixtures from a dimming control to

emergency power during a utility power

interruption and brings them to full brightness

• Universal mounting—surface, above

suspended ceiling or recessed

• Manual test switch

• 2-wire, 3-wire dimmable loads, including 0-10V,

DALI and Lutron EcoSystem
