WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS:
TO AVOID FIRE, DEATH, OR INJURY, CAREFULLY READ THE CHARGING
INSTRUCTIONS IN YOUR VEHICLE’S MANUAL BEFORE CHARGING, AND
HEED THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS:
- DO NOT use the EVSE Charging Station with a damaged AC outlet.
- DO NOT use an extension cord to provide power to the EVSE Charging Station.
- DO NOT operate the EVSE Charging Station with a visibly damaged AC Supply
Plug or Charge Cord/Connector. Inspect equipment before each use. If any
damage is detected, contact Customer Support.
- NOT FOR USE in commercial garages where a COMMERCIAL GARAGE
is defined as a facility, or portion of a facility, used for the repair of internal
combustion engine vehicles, in which the area may be classified due to vapors of
flammable liquids (gasoline) being present.
The EVSE Charging Station is a high powered electrical device. Connect only to a
circuit provided with 30 amperes maximum branch circuit over-current protection in
accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
This device shall be mounted at a sufficient height from grade such that the height of
the storage means for the coupling device is located between 24 inches (600 mm )
and 4 feet (1.2 m) from grade.
Ensure that the Charge Cord is positioned so it will not be stepped on, tripped
over, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress. Always stow the EVSE Charging
Station in a safe place after each use.
Use this EVSE Charging Station to charge electric vehicles equipped with an SAE
J1772™ compliant charge port ONLY. Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual to
determine if the vehicle is equipped with an SAE J1772™ compliant charge port.
DO NOT attempt to repair or service the EVSE Charging Station yourself. Refer to
the Troubleshooting section, or Customer Support section for service information.
