b. DSLR users are encouraged to use 58mm filter compatible lenses and

attach them directly to the Leupold Digital Camera Adapter base unit.

3. Thread the Leupold Digital Camera Adapter base unit onto the Leupold

Digital Camera Adapter lens diameter plate selected and already

mounted to the camera’s lens accessory threading.

1. Open the connection port of the Leupold Digital Camera Adapter by

turning its tension knob counter-clockwise.

2. Remove the rubber eyecup from the Leupold 12-40x60mm spotting scope.

3. Slide the connection port of the Leupold Digital Camera Adapter over the

eyepiece of the spotting scope until it is as far forward as it will

smoothly sit.

4. Rotate the camera as necessary to ensure a properly squared image from

the camera.

5. Tighten the t-slot of the connection port by turning the tension knob

clockwise until the camera and adapter are secure to the spotting scope.
