Step 6: Attach Tie Plates
Removethetwo5/16”X1”boltsfromthe#8U-TubePinNuts.SlipthetwoC-ChannelTiePlatesintothe
C-Channelandsecurewithfour5/16”X1”bolts,four5/16”lockwashers,andfour5/16”atwashers,usingtwosetsthat
wereremovedandtwosetsfromyourextensionkit.Youmaywishtouseaclampofthetypeshowntoaidinassembly.
Step 7: Install Base Panel
Remove the four bolts previously inserted to keep the U-Tubes in place on the Outside Frame Tubes. Place the Base
PanelontotheU-Tubes.Reinserttheboltsremovedalongwithatwashers,lockwashersandnuts,butdonottighten.
Step 8: Finish Base Panel Tightening
FinishsecuringtheBasePanelusingthesixK-Lathscrews,sixstar
washers,andsix1”atwashers.
Step 9: Install End Gate Latches
Installthetwoendgatelatchesnearthetopofthe#10U-Tube.These
are the latches removed and set aside in step one.
Step 10Carefullyremovethewiringfromthetailightsandcuttheendssothattheyareapproximatelythesamelength.
Strip½”ofinsulationfromtheendofeachofthesixwires.
