Tip!
In case no (executable) controller is available, or if the controller does not start in a faultless

2. Start an Explorer.
3. Change to the directory: <USB stick>\Backup\Copy_Backup_file
Copy the Backup.xml file.
4. Store this file one folder higher: <USB stick>\Backup
Note: If there is a Restore.xml file in this directory it has to be deleted.
5. Applies to 3200 C/p500 controllers: Copy the menu.lst file from the <USB
stick>:\Backup\Copy_Backup_file directory to the root directory of the USB stick.
<USB stick>:\
6. Connect the USB stick to the controller of which you want to create a backup.
7. Restart controller (with connected USB stick) by mains switching.
Contollers in Windows CE systems are automatically restarted.
The backup data are saved to the \Backup subdirectory on the USB stick after successful
write operation.
8. After the boot-up of the controller: Remove the USB stick from the controller.
Note!
For carrying out a backup with the Windows Explorer only USB sticks which have
previously been used for a »Backup & Restore« can be used.
