Components of the backup designation

The designation of the »Backup & Restore« directory contains the following components:

<Prefix>_<Controller>_<Serial number>_<Operating system>_<Backup

name>_<Date>_<Time>

Part Information

Prefix IPC backup for a data backup

IPC update for a (software) update

Product name Product name (device-dependent availability)

Example: c300/p300

Serial number Serial number of the controller

Operating system Operating system with which the backup was created.

Example: CE for Windows CE.

Backup name Backup name (length: 2-16 characters)

Name the backup according to the machine functionality to be able to better

identify the backup later on.

Example: winder

Date/time Creation time of the backup
