2.6 Number of participants
To ensure best receiving quality tor tibre-optic adaptors, the
number ot participants is limitert.
All tibre-optic adaptors directly or indirectly connected 10 a master
computer tibre-optic adaptor form a fibre-optic ring (see page 6).
When using tibre-optic distributors, an tibre-optic network will be
tormert <see page 7).
Number ot participants in a fibre-aptic ring
A tibra-optic ring with max. 52 tibre-optic admptors may ha
connected to the master computer tibre-optic adaptors 2125 and
2126.

optic distributore.
Calculation ot die maximum number ot fibre-optic adaptore
connected to a master calculator fibre-optic adaptor:
• Add the signal distortion ot Ihe passed fibre-optic adaptors and
Wie tibre-optic distribulors. You wIll tind the signal distortion ot
every unit in the Technical dato‘ (see Description of tha units“,
chapter 3).
• The sum 01 tha stgnal distortions may not exceed 40,5 Ps.

oplic adaplore can ha used in a tibre-optlc network.
