3 Playing a CD 4 2 1 Connect the supplied AC power cord or batteries(see page 14). 1 F UN C TION CD Slide the Function Switch to CD position (power on). R AD IO TAPE 2 3 4 OP E N CLOSE PLAY/PAUS E Press the CD Door Open button to open the CD Door and place the CD in the CD compartment. The label side of the CD should face upward. Close the CD Door by pushing it down at the position marked CLOSE. Press the CD Play/Pause Button. The player plays all the tracks once.

Slide the Function Switch to CD position. Make sure the CD is stopped. 2. Press the Program Button. The number 0 and the Program Lamp will flash. 3. Press or to select the tracks you want to program in the order you want. 4. Press the Program Button to confirm. The number 0 and the Program Lamp will flash. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4.

For best recording effect, use the AC power instead of batteries. To erase a recording, just start a new one, and the old recording is automatically replaced.
