1. Setting the Clock HOUR button DIMMER button MINUTE button CLOCK SET button Large display for clock, radio & CD play 1 Connect the AC power cord into a live wall outlet. If the plug of the AC power cord does not match your outlet, do not force it. Reverse it and try again. This plug is polarized and only fits one way into the wall outlet. Clock display will show “12:00 ” flashing. In cas e you want to reduce the brightness of the display when you are sleeping, you can press the DIMMER button.
2. Setting the Alarm Time This set has dual alarms. You may set ALARM 1 to wake you at a certain time, or ALARM 2 to wake you at a different time, or ALARM 1+2 - both alarms will sound at the time you set. This feature is useful for a husband & wife waking up at different time or a single person who likes to wake up at different time during weekdays and weekends. To set ALARM 1, slide the ALARM switch to position 1, the words “ALARM 1” will show in the display.

Slide the FM/AM/CD FUNCTION switch to CD position and the BUZZER/AUTO/ OFF/ON switch to ON position. 2. Select the track by pressing SKIP/SEARCH buttons, and then press PLAY/PAUSE button. 3. Press the CD PROGRAM/REPEAT button.
6. Playing CD in programmed or random order 1. Programmed Play You can make a program of up to 20 tracks in the order you want them to be played. Adjust for the clearest sound. The display will show you the frequency of the station tuned in. This is useful when you know the station’s frequency.
8. More about radio operation PHONES jack FM ANTENNA BATTERY COMPARTMENT (at the bottom of the set) To improve broadcast reception Fully stretch out the FM ANTENNA for better FM reception. Reorient the player itself for better AM reception. Or locate the set near a window. To listen without disturbing others Connect your headphones (optional - not included) into the PHONES jack at the right side of the set. The speakers will automatically be silenced.

Waking up to alarm or music NOTE:When the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON switch is set to ON or OFF position, the words “ALARM 1” or “ALARM 2” will not show in the display and no alarm buzzer, CD music or radio will come out at the set alarm time. 1.
