TheClientSecuritySolutionpassphraseisanoptionalfeatureofuserauthenticationthatwillprovide
enhancedsecuritytoClientSecuritySolutionapplications.TheClientSecuritySolutionpassphrasehasthe
followingrequirements:
•Beatleasteightcharacterslong
•Containatleastonedigit
•Bedifferentfromthelastthreepassphrases
•Containnomorethantworepeatingcharacters
•Notbeginwithadigit
•Notendwithadigit
•NotcontaintheuserID
•Notbechangedifthecurrentpassphraseislessthanthreedaysold
•Notcontainthreeormoreidenticalconsecutivecharactersasthecurrentpassphraseinanyposition
•NotbethesameastheWindowspassword
TheClientSecuritySolutionpassphraseisonlyknownbytheindividualuser.Theonlywaytorecoverfroma
forgottenClientSecuritySolutionpassphraseistoexecutetheClientSecuritySolutionpasswordrecovery
function.Iftheuserhasforgottentheanswerstohisorherrecoveryquestions,thenthereisnowayto
recoverthedataprotectedbytheClientSecuritySolutionpassphrase.
ClientSecuritypasswordrecovery
ThisoptionalfeatureallowsClientSecurityenrolleduserstorecoveraforgottenWindowspasswordor
ClientSecuritypassphrasebyansweringthreequestionscorrectly.Ifthisfeatureisenabled,youwillselect
threeanswerstotenpre-chosenquestions.IftheyouforgetyourWindowspasswordorClientSecurity
passphrase,youwillhavetheoptiontoanswerthesethreequestionstoresetyourpasswordorpassphrase.
Note:WhenusingtheClientSecuritypassphrase,ClientSecuritypasswordrecoveryistheonlyoptionfor
recoveringaforgottenpassphrase.Iftheyouforgettheanswertoyourthreequestions,youwillbeforcedto
reruntheenrollmentwizardandloseallpreviousClientSecurityprotecteddata.
ClientSecurityPasswordManager
ClientSecurityPasswordManagerenablesyoutomanageeasy-to-forgetapplicationandwebsite
information,suchasuserIDs,passwords,andotherpersonalinformation.ClientSecurityPasswordManager
protectsyourpersonalinformationthroughClientSecuritySolutionsothataccesstoyourapplicationand
websitesremaintotallysecure.TheClientSecurityPasswordManagerprogramalsosavestimeandeffort
becauseyouonlyhavetorememberonepasswordorpassphrase,orprovideyourngerprint.
ClientSecurityPasswordManagerenablestoperformthefollowingfunctions:

AutomaticallyencryptsallofyourinformationthroughClientSecuritySolution.Yoursensitivepassword

Automatesyourloginprocesswhenyouaccessanapplicationorwebsite.Ifyourlogoninformation
hasbeenenteredintoClientSecurityPasswordManager,thenClientSecurityPasswordManagercan
automaticallyllintherequiredeldsandsubmitthewebsiteorapplication.
