UsingRSASecurIDtokens

SecuritySolutionwillprovideyourenterprisewithmulti-factorsecurity.UsingRSASecurIDtokens,users
authenticateintonetworksandsoftwareusingtheiruserIDorPINandatokendevice.Thetokendevice
displaysastringofnumbersthatchangeeverysixtyseconds.Thismethodofauthenticationprovidesa
muchmorereliablelevelofuserauthenticationthanreusablepasswords.
InstallingtheRSASecurIDSoftwareToken
CompletethefollowingstepstoinstalltheRSASecurIDsoftware:
1.GotothefollowingWebsite:
http://www.rsasecurity.com/node.asp?id=1156
2.Completetheregistrationprocess.
3.DownloadandinstalltheRSASecurIDSoftware.
Requirements
1.EachWindowsusermustbeenrolledwithClientSecuritySolutionfortheRSAsoftwaretoworkproperly
afterithasbeenassociatedwithClientSecuritySolution.
2.TheRSAsoftwarewillgetintoanendlessloopoftryingtoauthenticatewithanon-ClientSecurity
SolutionenrolledWindowsuser.EnrolltheuserwithClientSecuritySolutiontoresolvethisissue.
SettingtheSmartCardAccessOptions
TosettheSmartCardAccessOptions,completethefollowingsteps:
1.FromtheRSASecurIDmainmenu,clickToolsandthenclickSmartCardAccessOptions.
2.FromtheSmartCardCommunicationpanel,selecttheradiobuttonforAccesstheSmartCard
throughaPKCS#11module.
3.ClicktheBrowsebuttonandnavigatetothefollowingpath:
C:\ProgramFiles\LENOVO\ClientSecuritySolution\csspkcs11.dll
4.Clickthecsspkcs11.dllleandthenclickSelect.
5.ClickOK.
InstallingtheRSASecurIDSoftwareTokenmanually
ToleverageClientSecuritySolutionprotectionwiththeRSASecurIDSoftwareTokencompletethefollowing
steps:
1.FromtheRSASecurIDSoftwareTokenmainmenu,clickFileandthenclickImportTokens.
2.NavigatetothelocationoftheSDTIDleandthenclickOpen.
3.FromtheSelectT oken(s)toInstallpanel,highlighttheserialnumbersofthedesiredsoftwaretokens.
4.ClickTransferSelectedTokensSmartCard.
Note:Ifatokenhasadistributionpassword,enterthepasswordwhenprompted.
5.ClickOK.
