Attention:BeforeyoustartinstallingthewirelessLANcard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.
Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
ToreplacethewirelessLANcard,dothefollowing:
1.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage77.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebasecover.See“Replacingthebasecover”onpage79.
4.Ifatoolisprovidedwiththenewcardtohelpyoudisconnectcables,usethetooltodisconnectthe
cablesfromtheoldcard.Ifnosuchatoolisprovided,holdthecableconnectorwithyourfingersand
gentlydisconnecteachcablefromtheoldcard.
5.RemovethescrewthatsecuresthewirelessLANcard.
