Usingthecamera
Ifyourcomputerhasacamera,youcanusethecameratopreviewyourvideoimageandtakeasnapshot
ofyourcurrentimage.
Tostartthecamera,dothefollowing:

Whenthecameraisstarted,thegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe
programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera
startsautomaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.

Configuringcamerasettings
Youcanconfigurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Toconfigurethecamerasettings,dothefollowing:

–Configurethecamerasettingsdirectlyfromtheprogramthatisusingthecamera.Formoreinformation,
seethehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
–ClickLenovoSettingsfromtheStartscreen.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
•ForWindows7:StarttheCommunicationsUtilityprogramandconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingcameragestures
Cameragesturesprovideanewwayofinteractingwithyourcomputer.Youcanusecameragesturesto
performsometasksusingsimplehandgesturesinsteadofusingthekeyboardormouse.
Toturnonthecamera-gesturesfunction,tapthecamera-gesturesicon
intheWeb-conferencemode.
