Thischapterhelpsyouquicklystartusingyourtablet.

InstallingtheSIMcard

IfyourtablethasawirelessWANfeature,itmightrequireaSIMcardtoestablishwirelessWANconnections.

Dependingonthecountryofdelivery,theSIMcardmightalreadybeinstalledinyourtabletormightbepart

oftheshippingcontentsthatcamewithyourtablet.

Attention:WheninstallingorremovingtheSIMcard,donottouchtheSIMcardmetalconnectors.As

aprecaution,alwaysholdyourtabletinyourhandbeforeyouinstallorremovetheSIMcardtoavoid

electrostaticdischarges.

ToinstallaSIMcard,dothefollowing:

1.Turnoffthetabletbypressingthepowerbuttonforafewseconds,andthentouchOKfromthePower

offmenu.

2.OpentheSIMcardslotcoverandlocatetheSIMcardslot.TolocatetheSIMcardslot,see“Tablet

layout”onpage1

3.HoldtheSIMcardwiththemetalcontactsfacingdownandpointingtowardthetablet,andtheninsertit

rmlyintotheSIMcardslotuntilyouhearaclick.

4.ClosetheSIMcardslotcoverandrestartyourtablet.

ToremoveaSIMcard,dothefollowing:

1.Turnoffthetabletbypressingthepowerbuttonforafewseconds,andthentouchOKfromthePower

offmenu.

2.LocatetheSIMcardslotandopentheSIMcardslotcover.TolocatetheSIMcardslot,see“Tablet

layout”onpage1.

3.PushtheSIMcardinwardandthenreleaseit.TheSIMcardejects.GentlyslidetheSIMcardout

oftheslot.
