LCD-relatedsymptoms
Important:TheTFTLCDforthenotebookcomputercontainsmanythin-lmtransistors(TFTs).Thepresenceofa
smallnumberofdotsthataremissing,discolored,oralwayslightedischaracteristicofTFTLCDtechnology,but
excessivepixelproblemscancauseviewingconcerns.
IftheLCDyouareservicinghastwoorlessvisibledefectivepixels,itshouldnotbeconsideredfaulty.However,ifthe
LCDhasthreeormorevisibledefectivepixels,itwillbedeemedasdefectivebyLenovoanditshouldbereplaced.
Note:
•ThispolicyappliestoallThinkPadNotebookspurchasedon1January,2008orlater.
•LenovowillnotprovidereplacementiftheLCDiswithinspecicationaswecannotguaranteethatany
replacementLCDwillhavezeropixeldefects.
