Makesurethatthedriveconnectorisrmlyconnectedtothecomputer.Ifyouuseanoptionthathasabay
forinstallingthedrive,makesurethattheoptionisrmlyconnectedtothecomputerandworksproperly.
Makesurethatthedrivetrayisrmlyclosed.
Makesurethatthedevicedriversarecorrectlyinstalled.
•Problem:YouhearanoisefromthedrivewhentheCD,DVD,orCD-RWisspinning.
Solution:Ifthediscisnotproperlyloadedonthecenterpivotofthedrive,itmayrubagainstthedrive
coverandmakeanoise.Makesurethatthediscisloadedproperlyinthedrive.
•Problem:Thetraydoesnotopenevenifyoupresstheejectbutton.
Solution:Whenyourcomputerisnotturnedon,pressingtheejectbuttondoesnotcausethedrivetray
toopen.Makesurethatthecomputeristurnedonandthatthedriveconnectorisrmlyconnected
tothecomputer.
Ifthetraystilldoesnotopen,makesurethatthecomputerisrunning,andinserttheendofastraightened
paperclipintotheemergencyejecthole.Thetraywillopen.

theDeviceswithRemovableStoragecategory.
3.ClickProperties.
4.ClicktheRecordingtab.
5.ClearthecheckboxforEnableCDrecordingonthisdrive.
