functionissettoEnablewhenyourLenovocomputeris
shippedfromthefactory,andthesettingremainsvalidevenwhenthecomputeris
inSleeporStandbymode.IfyoudonotneedtohaveWakeonLANsettoEnable
whileyourcomputerisinSleeporStandbymode,youcanreducethepower
consumptionandprolongthetimeinSleeporStandbymode,byswitchingthe
settingofWakeonLANforSleeporStandbymodetoDisable.Toswitchthe
settingofWakeonLAN,gotoDeviceManageranddoasfollows:
ForWindows7:
1.ClickStart➙Controlpanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.
3.IntheDeviceManagerwindow,expandNetworkadapters.
4.Right-clickyournetworkadapterdevice,andclickProperties.
5.ClickthePowerManagementtab.
6.CleartheAllowthisdevicetowakethecomputercheckbox.
7.ClickOK.
