1.Printtheseinstructions.
2.Saveallopenles,andexitallprograms.
3.Turnyourcomputeroffandthenturnitonagain.
4.Whenthelogoscreenisdisplayed,pressF1.TheThinkPadSetupprogrammainmenuopens.
5.SelectSecurity,usingthecursordirectionalkeystomovedownthemenu.
6.SelectPassword.
7.SelectSupervisorPassword.
8.Awindowopens,promptingyoutoenteranewpassword.Dependingonyourneeds,dooneofthe
following:
•Tosetapassword,dothefollowing:
a.IntheEnterNewPasswordeld,typeadesiredpasswordandpressEnter.
b.IntheConrmNewPasswordeld,retypethepasswordandpressEnter.
