Removingandreinstallingthefootstands

Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoremoveandreinstallthefootstand.
CAUTION:
Turnoffthecomputerandwaitthreetoveminutestoletthecomputercoolbeforeremovingthe
footstand.
Toremoveandreinstallthefootstand,dothefollowing:
1.Removeanymediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.
2.Disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
3.Disconnectthepowercords,Input/Outputcables,andanyothercablesthatareconnectedtothe
computer.See“Locatingconnectors,controls,andindicatorsonthefrontofyourcomputer”onpage

4.Placeasoft,cleantowelorclothonthedeskorthesurface.Holdthesidesofyourcomputerandgently
layitdownsothatthescreenisagainstthesurfaceandthecoverisfacingup.
5.Removetherubberonthefootstand.
