Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoremoveandreinstallthesystemstandhingecover.
CAUTION:
Turnoffthecomputerandwaitthreetoveminutestoletthecomputercoolbeforeremovingthe
systemstandhingecover.
Toremoveandreinstallthesystemstandhingecover,dothefollowing:
1.Removeanymediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.
2.Disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
3.Disconnectthepowercords,Input/Outputcables,andanyothercablesthatareconnectedtothe

and“Locatingconnectorsontherearofyourcomputer”onpage81.
4.Placeasoft,cleantowelorclothonthedeskorsurface.Holdthesidesofyourcomputerandgentlylay
itdownsothatthescreenisagainstthesurfaceandthecoverisfacingup.
5.Removethescrewthatsecuresthesystemstandhingecover,andthenliftthesystemstandhingecover
upandremoveitfromthecomputer.
