TherearethreeRJ-45Ethernetconnectorsontherearoftheserver.TheEthernetconnector0isforsystem
managementbydefault.However,youalsocansettheEthernetconnector1or2forsystemmanagement
use.Youalsocaninstallanoperatingsystemthroughthesystemmanagementconnector.Tolocatethe
threeEthernetconnectors,see“Rearviewoftheserver”onpage22
.
IfyousetoneoftheEthernetconnectorsforsystemmanagement,theothertwoEthernetconnectorscanbe
teamed.IftwoEthernetconnectorsareteamed,theconnectionspeedoftwoEthernetconnectorswillbethe
samewiththelowerconnectionspeedafterteaming.

3.Dooneofthefollowing:
•IfyouwanttousetheEthernetconnector0asanEthernetconnectorandasystemmanagement
connector,selectManagementNICShared.
•IfyouwanttousetheEthernetconnector0asadedicatedsystemmanagementconnector,select
ManagementNICDedicated.
•IfyouwanttousetheEthernetconnector1asanEthernetconnectorandasystemmanagement
connector,selectOnboardLANport1Shared.
•IfyouwanttousetheEthernetconnector2asanEthernetconnectorandasystemmanagement
connector,selectOnboardLANport2Shared.
Note:IfyousetoneEthernetconnectorasthesystemmanagementconnector,theothertwoEthernet
connectorswillbeordinaryEthernetconnectorsbydefault.
4.PressF10tosavesettingsandexittheSetupUtilityprogram.
ExitingtheSetupUtilityprogram
Afteryounishviewingorchangingsettings,pressEsctoreturntotheSetupUtilityprogrammaininterface.
Ifyouareonanestedsubmenu,pressEscrepeatedlyuntilyoureachthemaininterface.Then,youcando
oneofthefollowingtoexittheSetupUtilityprogram:
•IfyouwanttosavethenewsettingsandexittheSetupUtilityprogram,pressF10orselectSave&Exit➙
SaveChangesandExit.Otherwise,yourchangeswillnotbesaved.
•Ifyoudonotwanttosavethenewsettings,selectSave&Exit➙DiscardChangesandExit.
•Ifyouwanttoreturntothedefaultsettings,pressF9orselectSave&Exit➙RestoreDefaults.
