What is the color (red and blue) indication in the playback timeline view?
Answer:
The red color indicates alarm recording while the blue color indicates manual or activity recording.
What format does the video clip get exported? How to playback the exported
clips?
Answer:
The exported clips are stored in the mp4 file format. These can be played using the VLC media player.
How to access the recorded video if the camera is deleted from the application?
Answer:
If the camera is deleted the corresponding videos can be found in the share chosen for the recordings.
However, the files will be deleted if the number of days for which the recordings have to be stored is
completed.
How do I configure the system to detect and report activity as alarm?
Answer:
Use the Alert screen to configure the days and time period when the activity should be reported as
alarm.
What action should be taken if the storage is full?
Answer:
Delete the unnecessary files and recordings in the volume to make space of new recordings. The existing
recordings will be deleted after the specified number of days for which the recordings have to be stored
is completed.
The number of days for which the recordings are stored can be reduced under Setting > Storage to avoid
the storage full situation from occurring again.
I am unable to see the Live View even if I have installed the VLC and Mozilla
Firefox. The application displays a message need to install the plugin.
Answer:
Uninstall VLC by deleting the cache and preferences. Reinstall VLC by selecting the option when installing
the Mozilla Firefox.
Unable to see live view, it displays a blank video.
Answer:
To see live view, select the Enable Remote View option under Setting > Remote View Setting.
